My vision and projection is that Google’s web-based tools improve collaboration and communication among administrators, teachers, support staff, parents and community stake-holders to enhance student achievement, improve parental and community support, as well as develop life-long learners that are able to effectively contribute to their communities and society.

Which Google tools you are most likely to implement, and why?

The Google tools that I am most likely to implement are Google Calendars, Google Forms and Spreadsheets. I will implement Google Calendars because it provides collective access to events within our school and community.  I will implement Google forms and spreadsheets because it is an uncomplicated and effective means to collect and disaggregate date.

The lessons that I have learned from reviewing how other administrators and schools are using Google Calendar, Docs, and Blogger are:
Through reviewing other administrators and school communities uses Google Tools I have learned that Google Calendars are able to be overlapped and be viewed by many people simultaneously or at individuals’ discretions.  I have learned that Google Docs are very effective in limiting duplications of documents that can often times become more confusing and redundant than effective.  I have learned that administrators have to be conscience of their tones and professional when using Blogger to convey information on World Wide Web.  I also learned that as an administrator I have to led Blogging communication by example.

My vision is align with the “Visionary Leadership” standard as put forth in ISTE’s National Educational Technology Standards for Administrators as so:
My vision promotes a shared effort to enhance student achievement and community improvement.

My goals for integrating Google tools into your school or personal practice are:

Google Tools Integration Goals:
1)   Train and motivate all stakeholders to use Google Tools to better collaborate and communicate.
2)   Effectively use Google Tools to better collaborate best practices to improve student achievement.
3)   Publish information through Blogger about student and teacher success so that all stakeholders remain abreast on what is current with school/community.

Steps I will you need to take to implement my Google Tools implementation vision are:
Procedure to implement my vision.
1)   Explicitly explain my vision to all involved participants.
2)   Introduce and train participants who are unfamiliar with Google Tools how to effectively use Google Tools.
3)   Expedite steps 1 and 2 and allow the vision to manifest.

Key unanswered questions do you have about using Google tools?
I don’t have any questions at this time about Google tools.  Taking this class has really enhanced my knowledge and skills on Google Tools.

Among school staff, who will be able to help you implement your vision?

My principal, other teachers, support staff, WIN (Woodlawn Innovation Network), EdHelp, neighboring schools and community liaisons are other stake-holders that can help with fulfilling my vision of implementing Google Tools.
